Ballet Teacher and Coach
Born in Cork, Ireland, Tracy started dancing at the age of 5 with Ballet Theatre Ireland. At the age of 11, she moved to London
to train at The Royal Ballet School where she graduated from with a Trinity Diploma in 2007.
Throughout her professional training, Tracy was awarded various prizes and scholarships. In 2006, she was a winner of the Ursula Moreton Choreographic Competition as well as receiving the Royal Ballet School's choreographic excellence award for a collaboration with the Royal College of Music, London. She was a finalist of the Young British Dancer of the Year and received the Stanley Pickering Trusts Sponsorship to complete her graduate year of training. During her final 2 years at school, Tracy performed with the Royal Ballet company in various ballets at the Royal Opera House and also joined them on their 2007 International tour to Mexico and the U.S.A.
In August 2007, Tracy started her professional career with the English National Ballet as an artist,
performing various ballets from their repetoire around the UK and toured to Beijing, China.
The following season, Tracy joined the Barcelona Ballet (formerly Corella Ballet) under the direction of Angel Corella.
While dancing with the Barcelona Ballet, she performed various soloist and principal roles and
toured many renowned theatres throughout Spain as well as internationally.
In 2013, Tracy joined the Colorado Ballet under the direction of Gil Boggs.
She was named one of Pointe magazine's 10 "Stars in the Corps" in June 2013. She has danced at the Vail International Dance Festival 2015 and will return in 2017, is featured in the Colorado Ballet's 2015/16 and 2016/17 season's commercial and poster campaign and was featured on the cover of Denver Life Magazine's 2015 November issue. Since joining Colorado Ballet, Tracy has performed various soloist and principal roles. Her most notable include the Summer Fairy in Ben Stevenson's Cinderella, Principal couple in Sandra Brown's The Last Beat,
Hermia in Christopher Wheeldon's A midsummer Night's Dream, 2nd and 3rd girls in Jerome Robbin's Fancy Free, Effie in La Sylphide,
Caterpillar in Septime Webre's Alice (In Wonderland), Muse in Dominic Walsh's Wolfang (For Webb), Gerald Arpino's Light Rain Pas De Deux,
Arabian Divertissement in the Nutcracker, Pas De Trois and Big Swans in Swan Lake, Sea Witch in Lynne Taylor- Corbett's The Little Mermaid, Dark Angel in George Balanchine's Serenade and the 5th pas de deux in Jiri Kylian's Petite Mort.
In February 2017, Tracy was promoted to soloist for the 2017/18 season.
Tracy is also on the faculty of the Colorado Ballet Academy teaching the pre-professional division and upper level students.
She also directs the ballet levels at Centerstage Starz Dance studio. She has taught at various Summer Intensive courses throughout Colorado.
Outside of the studio, Tracy has modelled for the Wear Moi 2011 dance wear catalogue, Intermezzo's 2013 catalogue, Petit Ballet Barcelona's 2013 Tutu Collection, Denver Life Magazine 2015 and 2016, Barreto Dancewear 2016, and appeared at Denver Fashion Week 2016.
